OPEN CALL ~ SPANNING DELTA II ~
PAKD Gallery Berlin invites artists in all fields to apply for the second edition of Spanning Delta, our annual open call bringing new artists onto our permanent roster.
Selected artists must succeed TWO Voting Rounds due to the number of Applications PAKD will receive.
All applicants round one result will be notified via email by the ANONYMUZE Robot. If the robot states application has been approved, your application has succeeded to round TWO of voting. Only then will finalists be voted on, and all results will be notified to via email directly by PAKD upon final count.

This call is open to all forms of painting, sculpture, installation, photography, digital art, and interactive media.
Application fee: €12
Submission limited to 3 works per artist.
Jury: composed of 36 of your peers in art from the PAKD Gallery Roster, representing 15 countries.

1. Personal information - this information is kept entirely ANONYMOUS from the jury as is stated in the application. This information is needed only in the event of your successful selection after voting is complete. We keep things blind to keep things democratic.
2. Load your 3 artworks. No more than 3, any file type you wish.

HOW TO ENTER:
Spanning Delta II will delve into themes of change, metamorphosis, and adaptation, showcasing the transformative and connective forces of art, and the resilience of human spirit. Artworks in the exhibition explore various forms of adaptation, migration, ritual, and the human desire for survival despite limitations, boundaries, accessibility, and occupation. It offers a platform where the transformative power of art is examined through various materials and mediums, spanning painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, and interactive installation.
Previously in Spanning Delta, artists delivered perspective and visions through careful approach, creating work that traverses cultural, geographical, corporeal, and emotional boundaries. The collection tied together the power of migrations, the mystery of ritual, flesh, and the fluidity of permutations that defines our existence in both intimate and communal spaces.
The title, "Spanning Delta", alludes to the flow and transition between various forms and states, much like the Greek letter Delta (Δ) stands for a symbol of change in both mathematical and cultural contexts.
It is with these notions and intentions that we begin together again, and form PAKD.
