When Eyes Become Home

This exhibition presents depictions of identity and memory through works inspired by Syrian history and culture. All proceeds from this exhibition will be used to promote education in Syria through the Abjad initiative.

In When Eyes Become Home, cultural heritage is surveyed through the relationships between work that encompass paintings, local graphic and comic styles, anime artists, 3D models, and augmented reality technologies.

A comprehensive experience with live music, Syrian hospitality and modern Arabic calligraphy, this exhibition documents and honors the characteristics of a place and its people.
